Collectible Horses Need Tack Too!

Alicia Wilson of Turner, Oregon wished for affordable horse-themed jewelry for everyday wear. Her searches lead her to start her own business to sell the products she located. In the meantime her daughter Samantha, age twelve, began creating tack for her Breyer model horses.

The enterprising mother-daughter duo decided to join forces and add the tiny tack items to the business. Samantha creates scale model halters and bridles for the hand painted horses, bringing their realistic features further into a miniature world.

Alicia’s line of bling jewelry and tee shirts are affordable and suitable for daily wear. She hopes to expand her offerings with other items soon and even has plans for a website. Her current collection can be found here on her Facebook page entitled Texas Heart Accessories.

When Alicia is not selling jewelry or mini-tack, she works for a local bank as a merchant teller, handling business accounts. When spare time presents itself, she and her daughter ride trails around Silver Creek Falls, participate in Western pleasure shows such as Roddy Ranch and Buckaroo shows and have great fun with barrel racing.  Check out her Facebook page and see what appeals to you and your own daughter!
