Capture The Moment

Pictures evoke a thousand memories. That certain gaze, the cutest smile, the play of light through the hair. You know the ones that grab your interest. Jayme Dodrill Dukart has an eye for finding those perfect significant moments when the true personality and favorite expressions of your pet occur.

Jayme’s business of pet photography grew out of her love of all animals and an interest in taking pictures of them. She began with a modest digital camera and some postings on Facebook. Friends started asking her to photograph their pets too.  A friend with a dog having terminal cancer asked Jayme to capture some lasting memories for her of this beloved pet before the end came. That act of kindness and compassion launched her business of  “For The Love of Pet Photography”.

She took the leap, invested in top quality digital photography equipment and began snapping pet pictures for a fee. She charges $150 for a photo session of two to three hours either at your home or on location. She is based in Oregon City, Oregon but will travel to outlying areas in Portland, Salem and Vancouver. Jayme will provide you with 50-60 images on a gallery and you may choose as many as you like through various packages.

Jayme also has a passion for rescue animals and makes her skills available at no charge to photograph these creatures in preparation for adoption. She works with several agencies to assist in advertising these pets for home placement. Her day job is with the Banfield Hospital Group, a national chain of small animal clinics where she is on the medical operations team, developing protocols for their hospitals.
