Let me introduce myself…

Hello! I guess you could say “better late than never.” I must be in the 2nd wave of real estate agents starting to blog. Well, let’s mount up and ride, shall we?

I live just outside of Salem, near Turner, Oregon on a couple of acres. I lease 20 more so that my horses have lots of pasture space. I currently own 4 horses-a Friesian and 3 Oldenburgs. I also own chickens, 2 dogs and a barn cat. My husband and our teenage daughter (yes, you can feel sorry for me, I have a teenager) enjoy the peace and privacy of living in the country. The Willamtte Valley is a beautiful place to live!

I obtained my real estate license in 1997 selling residential propety.  However, a large portion of my sales involved acreage homes. It is only this year that I decided to focus on helping horse owners find suitable horse property throughout the Salem, Oregon area. As a horse owner, I know the joy of looking out your kitchen or living room window and watching your horse graze, or nap. What better alarm sound than your horse’s whinny?
